After a legal career of 30 plus years as a trial attorney, Bill has become convinced of the value of mediation.  It is a time and money saver and often reaches settlements which courts cannot.  No one has better knowledge of the facts involved in a dispute than the parties themselves.  Who better to solve the problems and fabricate a settlement other than those parties?  Often all that is needed is a little help and direction which comes in the form of a mediator.

Bill has been able to utilize his educational and legal experience to provide effective services as a mediator in many diverse areas.  In addition to serving as a mediator, Bill has served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Antrim Counties for the past eight years.  He currently serves on the credentials board, reviewing applications for applicants seeking formal recognition as a mediator.

Bill also serves as a Pro Bono mediator for Conflict Resolution Services and has assisted that body as an instructor for mediation training.

Serving as a mediator in Michigan is no problem.  Bill currently mediates statewide in the Detroit Metropolitan Area, Grand Traverse, Leelanau & Antrim Counties, Grand Rapids, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Cadillac, Gaylord and Traverse City.
